The research
For the 2025 edition of EggupLAB, we have explored a new horizon in the field of soft skills assessment: the use of Artificial Intelligence to create realistic images for an entirely visual assessment focused on Emotional Intelligence.
This research is part of an emerging trend in the HR world, where Artificial Intelligence is increasingly integrated into human skills assessment processes to make evaluations more immersive, objective, and predictive.
Our research focused on developing an assessment model that uses AI-generated images to stimulate more authentic and intuitive responses from candidates, overcoming the limitations of traditional text-based evaluations. Thanks to the collaboration with our Advisory Board and the scientific direction of Professors Antonino Callea and Flavio Urbini from LUMSA University in Rome, we analyzed the impact of this innovative approach in measuring key competencies such as empathy, responsiveness to others’ emotions, and emotional awareness. The resulting assessment was then scientifically validated with the support of the project’s scientific direction.

As Director of NABA Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti in Rome, she oversees all company functions, including human resources management for the entire team in Rome, with a particular focus on professional growth and skills development. Former manager, she worked for 14 years in the Business Administration department at John Cabot University and managed the Center for Career Services and Continuing Education. She was a member of the Strategic Planning Committee and the University’s HR task force. In 2019 she founded “Osservatorio Cultura Lavoro”, a company that cares about bringing career guidance services in schools in order to reduce educational poverty.

Occupational psychologist, with several years of experience in HR, ranging from recruitment to personnel management and development. Today, she is a reference point for the Zucchetti Group’s Talent Management activities and personally supports resources and organizations in change processes through various methodologies (such as assessment, development center, etc.) Her motto? Business Administration and HR Management researcher and Professor of the Personal Development course at Sacro Cuore University of Piacenza. She earned a PhD in Business Administration at Bocconi University. She has been a visiting scholar at the University of Amsterdam. She’s the author of books and articles for Italian and international magazines.

After getting his master’s degree in Management for Digital Innovation at MIP Politecnico of Milano, his career began and developed within structured HR departments, where he dealt with administrative and organizational processes for HR management. Today he continues to deal with HR topics, but as an information systems expert consultant to support companies in their digitalization and technological solutions implementation projects.
Beyond Words: Integrating AI into Skills Assessment
EggupLAB 2025 returns with a special edition, a real window into the future. This year, we will compare Artificial Intelligence and Emotional Intelligence — two worlds that may seem opposed but, when combined, can create something extraordinary. We embarked on an ambitious research project, pushing beyond the traditional boundaries of assessments: we used AI to generate realistic images and build a new model for evaluating emotional skills, scientifically validated. Why images? Because our brain responds to images in profound, unconscious, and immediate ways. And what if we could harness this power to better understand ourselves, our ways of relating to others, and our potential?
